China Village-Albany

Antonio | Jun 23, 2004 11:16 PM

I know that China Village is greatly adimired by many of the posters on this board. I liked this restaurant too - that is until my lunch yesterday. I ordered the Steamed Pork Buns Shanghai Style: they were frozen in the center. Unfortunately, I only found this out after I had bitten into one of them. I told the waiter and he took them back and after a few minutes brought out new, hotter ones. The most uncomfortable thing about this was the sensation of having raw, frozen pork in my mouth. Thankfully, I did not get sick. However, I did lose my appetite. In addition, during lunch I witnessed a busboy setting a table, dropping a chopstick on the floor and setting it back on the table.
