Chichen Itza for cochinita pibil

Finally tried this Yucatecan stand in the neat Mercado La Paloma across the 110 from USC. Cochinita pibil plate was a bargain at $6 and served with tasty black beans, rice and corn tortillas.

The pibil was a generous serving and flavorful, topped with tangy pickled onions. A little fattier cut then I would prefer, but still delicious. Also liked their tangy house salsa and the extensive Yucatecan menu sounds perfect for sampling. Looking forward to trying their panuchos, salbutes, and atole.
