Dinner last night. First time. Definite return.

3 of us.

Shared everything.

Decided to start with an app. and two ceviches. Then followed with one entree, one more app. and a side. Two desserts. It was plenty of food for three.

Good assortment of Latin beers.

Great, light, zesty flounder ceviche.

Incredible black bean puree with chorizo and plantain chips.

Good (but not good enough to order again) shellfish ceviche.

Nice pork platter - grilled pork tenderloin, chorizo, greens, hominy, and arepa. Great dish. Very satisfying. No one makes an arepa like DR.

Fried oysters - very heavy - but not bad. Thickly battered with a sauce on top, PLUS greens, cheese and corn masa underneath. I can't imagine one person eating six of these - but a good share for three of us.

OK - but uneventful - fried yuca.

Sucky desserts. The churros were great but the dipping sauces weren't. (Beware: Mexican chocolate is an oxymoron.)

Service - VERY accomodating!
