This is my first time staying in Chicago and my family and I are looking for some chow. We will be staying near Navy Pier if thats helpful. Being as this is our first time to Chicago we want to do the specialties for sure (italian beef, hot dog and deep dish). We had a budget set for this trip so we dont have a ton of money to spend on these things so the cheaper the better but we still obviously want the best bang for the buck so if there are classic spots dont hold back. We will be doing the normal touristy things (Shedd, Field Museum, Michigan Ave, Sears Tower, Millennium Park, Lincoln Park zoo) so if you can keep it close to those destinations that would be soo helpful. I realize this is a lot to ask and very open ended but you guys and gals give the best advice so thats why I'm here. Thanks a TON in advance!
