My wife and I will be visiting Chicago from NYC on May 28-June 2. We're staying at a Best Western near the Roosevelt stop.
We'll have our 2 year old son in tow, making dining challenging. He's generally well-behaved, and I would feel comfortable taking him to most restaurants aside from fine dining. I'd rather not be limited to fast casual restaurants, but don't want to go to a place where the staff will freak at the sight of a small child.
The biggest obstacle is that his bedtime is about 7 PM, limiting our ability to travel too far from home. So we'll either need to eat early dinners or do takeout/room service.
Suggestions for lunches (where we could travel further away) and dinners welcome.
Budget is not too much of an issue as we'll be on vacation and fairly willing to spend for the right option.
Thanks in advance!
