The presence of taxicabs outside the door tells you you're in the right place. Inside the atmosphere is pure Lagos-via-Chicago: fuji music bubbling away in the background, TV in the corner tuned to the Disney channel, working guys chatting animatedly in Yoruba, and nary an "oyinbo" in sight (save yours truly). The family and I enjoyed the food also. The menu offerings are much the same as in other Chicago Nigerian establishments: Egusi, Ewedu, Ogbono and Okra soups, and Jollof rice. The menu also offers Isi-Ewu, or boiled goat's head, available only by advance order, as are Moi-Moi (steamed black-eyed pea dumplings) and pepper soup. Service is also reasonably prompt by Nigerian restaurant standards, and the waitstaff attentive to customer needs. If you're not Nigerian, ask them to help with the menu; it's a little hard to decipher.
