Hey Chicago Chowhounds,

I'm coming in to Chicago for a friend's wedding, and need recommendations for places to eat. I'll be staying in downtown Chicago, without a car, and sometimes without company. Here are a few meals I need suggestions for, with constraints for each one:

1. Dinner for one on Friday. I'm staying at the corner of Ohio and Michigan, and will need to grab a bite to eat after I check in (~7:30 PM). Hopefully walking distance, where I don't need a reservation, and can feel comfortable eating alone.

2. Breakfast/Lunch on Saturday. With one or two other folks, who probably won't want to spend too much money (still students), though I'm totally fine with spending as much as necessary for good food... ;) I have a little more flexibility in terms of location here, but probably still don't want to wander too far (need to get back to change before the wedding).

3. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner on Sunday. With one or two other folks, maybe a little more leeway on time and money.

I like all sorts of cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, French, Brazilian, Mexican, Thai, steakhouses, seafood, etc.), but tend to prefer Asian, or Asian fusion (always on the lookout for a good hsiao lung bao and noodle soup!). Hole in the wall shops and restaurants are always great finds, as well as really good complete dining experiences.

Any suggestions? I'll also look down the board, but I don't know the layout of Chicago well enough to probably determine which ones are accessible to me...

Thanks in advance for your help!
