Chicago-area Restaurant Recommendations: Thanks for all the help

. . . but in the end, I only made it to a couple places.

I got stuff for Shabbos (chicken, soup, kugel, challah, salads, etc.) from Chaim's. Very nice!

Bugsy's was booked the night I wanted to go there with the friend I stayed with the last couple days, so we went to Slice of Life. I'd give it a solid B+, and an A- for certain dishes.

When I tried to get to Bagel Country with a friend Sunday afternoon, we were defeated by the buses. Oy! Unmarked bus stops, no posted schedules, bus stops around the corner from OTHER bus stops . . . ! *sigh*

And while I tried repeatedly to get to one of the two kosher Dunkin' Donuts, that never happened either.

Thanks for all the suggestions, though. :) Next time I'm in Chicago, I hope to check out more of them.
