here's a new scoop: satko, the owner of pizza
bubamara has just opened a sit-down restaurant
(around the corner from bubamra, at 1820 w. wilson).
some friends and i stopped in to check out the menu
and were immediately drawn in by satko's magnetic
persona. we decided to eat and on his recommendation,
i took the swordfish which was phenomenal! satko told
us that the secreet is in the marination. my
boyfriend had the chicken alfredo which was
homemadeand sinfully rich and delicious. our friend,
lisa ordered just an appetizer, the "Palacenke" or
bosnian crepes which she said were great.
in additiona to having great homemade food prepared
right in front of you, the place is small and quaint
enough for the cook and his staff to give you special
attention. and, if you're interested, satko will even
show you around his kitchen.
