Is This Chicago?

I just wanted to vent about how horrible this store's business manner is---

I stopped at a Dunkin Donuts (Clark and Belmont) tonight and saw the worse thing ever.

A young girl apparently very pregnant had parked in the parking lot and run across the street - dropped something off and was back in less than 3 minutes.

While she was gone the store operators placed a "boot" on her car and then demanded $100.00 to allow her to take her car back otherwise they would have it towed which would cost her twice as much.

The girl was crying and pleading and telling of her current situation which included being 7 months pregnant and on her own -

Unfortunatley this had no effect on what seemed to be, for lack of better words, a cold-hearted store operator.

I have encouraged others who were there to contact Dunkin Donuts about this situation as it seems to me that this was entirley uncalled for.

The store is at 3200 N Clark at Belmont

If anyone visits them or wants to drop them a line.

Thank you
