We are staying in a Villa near San Gimignano and are looking for recommendations for Tuscany. We have two days for wine tasting in Greve, and Gaiole and a sightseeing day in Siena.
Here are some places we've reserved.
Agriturismo Il Vecchio Maneggi (dinner)
Enoteca Fuoripiazza (lunch)
Osteria del Castello (lunch)
Podere Poggio Alloro (wine tasting and dinner)
There are few wineries we've already reserved in specific areas that I haven't listed.
However couple dinners are open and need to be reserved. I am having a hard time deciding between Cum Quibus, Taverna BIbbiano, and Agriturismo Poderi Arcangelo. We are doing Poderi's wine tasting on Thursday. Should we stay for dinner? (We want to stay near San Gimignano for dinner since there will be plenty of wine consumed at dinner.)
Essentially we want nonna's cooking with traditional flavors, nothing modern or fancy.
Any feedback on the places I've already reserved would be great and suggestions on dinners near San G. also. Thank you!
