Chez Wong, Lima, Peru

Motosport | Sep 13, 201708:50 AM

I was in Lima for a wedding. Some NY foodies had mentioned Chez Wong as a unique experience with fabulous food.

Chez Wong is not easy to find so take a taxi and write the address clearly. Also, in Lima they pronounce the Z in
CheZ so be sure to ask for CheZZ Wong and not "Shay" Wong.

The Chef, Javier Wong prepares each and every individual meal in his open kitchen. It's an amazing experience to see.

The Ceviche' is fabulous. We made the mistake of ordering one portion for each of us when one would have satisfied three people.

There is no menu so the dishes will come out as they are prepared. We went on a Friday and all of the servings were fish.

Be sure to make a reservation early. Lunch only until 3 PM.
