I was given a very generous gift certificate to Chez Panisse. My wife doesn't eat meat (all seafood and some poultry are ok) and generally goes for lighter fare, while I'll happily eat whatever they put in front of me.
We have this idea that we're more likely to get heavier, meaty things in Fall/Winter, and that we may be more likely to get a menu that she'll appreciate if we wait 'til Springtime to go.
Is there any credence to this theory, or should we just go whenever we can and take our chances? I presume they don't adjust their menu for vegitatians....
I know the cafe is an option, but I'd like to take advantage of this gift and go in for the "full treatment."
any thoughts on how to maximize our chances of having the best possible experience?
