These pressed sandwiches are filled with swiney goodness. Still just as delicious as always, the price has gone up to around $10.50 (includes a side of plaintain chips, homemade salsa and salad greens).
Told two friends (a couple) that I would drop by their house with dinner last night but wouldn't tell them what we were having. Picked up two orders and brought two over saying prepare yourself for the ultimate sandwich experience. I don't think any of us spoke for the duration of our short eat-a-thon. Washed down with a couple of cold beers, these things are amazing! Smiles all around afterwards.
I love the roast pork and the bacony pork, the small sliced green spicy peppers & the pressed bread together with that sauce. What is the "sauce" they use? Mayo & ?
I was going to do a Miami Cafe taste test, but opted for two known qualities (and I had no cash on me).
such a magical animal,
