So here's my dilemma. I love the Cuban sandwich at Chez Henri. I could almost say it's an addiction. As such, I went there last night, which ended up being kind of a crowded night. But the service has been been getting progressively worse each time I go, and I'm not sure I can stand it anymore. Not only are there too few people staffing the bar area (counter and tables included), but one of them was so abrupt and indifferent to our needs, I was really annoyed. At the end of the night, my friend and I ended up tipping 15% which I felt bad about, but I kind of wanted to get the point across. (I might also end up regretting this if I return, which I'm afraid I can't help but do because of my penchant for their roast pork.)
What does everyone think? Should one receive the same caliber of service in the bar area as they would in the formal dining area? Moreover, is there any way of getting this point across to the management in a nice way?
