Chewy homemade noodles at Katy's Dumpling House.

There's a very small restaurant called Katy's Dumpling house located within the small strip mall on Cass Avenue. The place sells a variety of chinese food but the dishes that are notable include noodles. At Katy's, the noodles are homemade and very chewy and satisfying. We tried the Beef Noodle Soup and we tried the Noodle with Meat Sauce (Jangjjang mien?). I believe the other noodle dishes are also as good, but I would consider staying away from the other mainstream dishes. I haven't really tried their dumplings but I believe they make them from scratch and they seem pretty popular amongst the asian locals. Most of the people there don't speak english too well, but there is always one that is friendly and can assist you on recommendations. Other dishes that my boyfriend and I also noticed on the side included soy sauce marinated pig's ear, and marinated egg along with beef which both go excellent with rice. Give the place a try if you love homemade noodles.
