Chewy Hand Made Noodles At Flavor of Beijing in Rowland Heights

Thwarted in my attempt to dine at Green Village in Rowland Heights, I went to the Plaza Walk area in the back of the same Diamond Square shopping center with the intention of dropping by 101 Noodle Express. However, I spied a new eatery at the far end, Flavor of Beijing. This is a limited menu operation serving a small number of what they call Beijing or local specialties. Their true specialty appears to be the $19.99 lamb hotpot (no table burners), but they also have other lamb dishes and hand made noodles. I had the hand made noodles ($5.99 instead of $4.99 for machine noodles) with "steamed meat." Noodles were very good--thick and chewy, and the meat and sauce were also quite delicious.

Street address for the shopping center is 1388 Fullerton Road, but unless you know where it is you'll miss it since there is a narrow opening for a very very long shopping area. (I've been there dozens of times and yet once actually missed the entrance.)
