Cheung Fun - Fresh Rice Noodles - In Manhattan, weekday around 8 AM

Dave MP | Nov 16, 2011 11:54 AM

Hi NY hounds,

Boston hound here for a brief visit. I'm looking for a place for breakfast tomorrow (Thursday) around 8 AM, and I want to eat cheung fun (fresh rice noodles). Other Cantonese breakfast dishes might be nice too, and/or baked goods.

Two places that sound like possibilities are:

Sunkist Bakery on E. Broadway near Chinatown (but I am not sure if they are open that early on a Thursday)

Mei Li Wa Bakery on Bayard St. in Chinatown - it sounds like they will be open by then.

Anyone have any suggestions for this? Bonus if they make them fresh to order....

Anywhere in Manhattan is fine.
