Cherries on Top

Marty L. | May 25, 2004 01:56 PM

I'm extremely reluctant even to post this, for fear of raising folks' expectations only to have them dashed in a couple of weeks. I just received an e-mail that there is a "bumper crop" at Cherries on Top this year that will be ready for the picking in a couple of weeks.

In recent years, the crops have been picked clean within (literally) hours of CoT opening, and always *before* there is any public (or e-mail) notice of the date. See previous threads at

So, if you are a cherry-lover -- and who isn't? -- you probably ought to take the drive out to Flint Hill every morning before work, just to ensure you won't miss out! (P.S. And when you find out the *real* date for picking, please let the rest of us Hounds know -- don't worry, we won't tell anyone else.)
