The Chelsea on the Queen Mary

Eric | Oct 23, 200309:31 PM     2

My family is thinking about holding a special dinner (dad's 75th birthday) at The Chelsea on the Queen Mary for a smallish group (12 or so) in one of their private rooms. Has anyone had good or bad experiences there? I assume that we might be able to select a menu in advance - any tips on what they are especially good or bad at?

If not the Chelsea, any other recommendations for a special dinner in or around Long Beach? We are looking at a private room because some of the older folks don't hear so well in even moderately noisy restaurants. Thanks all.
