There's this quaint little Italian restaurant called Buena Sara on King's Road across the street from a pub (forgot the name) that I love. It has a unique set-up inside, where a set of tables are stacked on top of the first floor tables and you get up to the second-tier by the use of ladders. Very cozy and intimate, and the owner/manager (?) was incredibly warm and hospitable when my boyfriend and I went in 2 summers ago during our study abroad.
We thought the food was pretty good, but what set the place apart from every other Italian restaurant besides the unique arrangement inside and the friendly staff was the tiramisu - best we both have ever had to this day (even after our travels in Rome and Venice).
As it's been over a year, I'm wondering if it is still there, what other people's opinions of it are, and any info on the owner/manager would be appreciated (I believe he was of a Middle Eastern background, strange for an Italian place, I could be wrong though).
