chef's pan recs needed, please

I am still searching for a good replacement for my worn out 11 inch nonstick stir fry pan. I've been out shopping and really like the tri ply cookware I've seen. It's just a bit heavy for my delicate wrists. I almost bought the AC 4 qt saute/simmer pan but the heft is a bit much. I found the Kirkland tri ply cookware pieces from Costco (I think this is Tramontina?) heavy as well. A chef's pan with a handle and lid might be the way to go as I really like the rounded sides and flat bottom and most of my cooking involves browning then simmering. Also, this pan could work for stir fry, even though I don't make that too often. I would love to handle some Marcus cookware, but no store near me carries this line (I live in the greater Boston area). I'm trying to get away from nonstick cookware and go with pieces that will last considerably longer. Any suggestions for a good quality stainless, but less weighty than tri ply chef's pan? I have a ceramic glass top stove (not happy with it, but not replacing any time soon).

Thanks for your help!
