I am planning a wedding and yes I am on a budget, I was exploring my options for great food without having to skim my guest list way down to afford everything. I was thinking of finding out if chef teachers would make it a class project or if I would be able to get a few students to accept the position. Is this something that is done? It is a little concerning because they can have little experience and could make huge mistakes. Not really sure how to find the most responsible good planning chef students either. But I am not impressed with the catering companies I have found so far with my budget prices... I want creative great looking and tasting food. Does anyone have ideas on other options? The wedding is in the Kansas City area.
