My heart sank when I read the news last week that Chef Perry Hoffman would be leaving the Healdsburg Shed at month's end. https://www.sonomamag.com/biteclub/ma... Recently I'd met a Michelin-starred chef from France who declared that Hoffman's cuisine was the best in this area. Having followed the developments at SHED from the beginning and its infamous revolving door in the initial years, Hoffman certainly brought much needed stability to the kitchen and expanded from there. Eater reports that with the search for a new executive chef, dinner hours will decrease, closing at 7pm starting September 4. https://sf.eater.com/2018/8/22/177699...
