Did anyone see the article in Tuesday's NY Times (Business section) about "cheeseburger fries"? It appears that the Beef Council is attempting to market this newfangled appetizer as a new way to eat meat.
Basically, it is some sort of combination of ground beef, processed cheese which is then breaded, deep fried and served with ketchup or bbq sauce. 4-6 grams of fat per fry! I don't know whether I am repulsed or curious. Anyone else hear of it or actually try it? Is is available in the New York area?
