NewGirl, thanks for the recommendations for the different cheese/combo's. They sound terrific. I didn't make it down to the Reading Terminal and instead went to Carlino's in Ardmore. Bought three types: Piave, Umbriaco Rosso, and Prima Donna ( a personal fav of mine). The Umbriaco Rosso is dipped in red wine and offered a most interesting taste.
As for the prosciutto, I got the San Daniele, which was good. I'm always skeptical of buying prosciutto here because I've had so much of it in Italy and I can tatse the difference. Be that as it may, I definitely will hit Downtown Cheese soon. Thanks again.
PS-The fig jam combo sounds awesome.
