Say Cheese, Moan MMMMMMM

julia | Apr 9, 200108:01 PM     6

Just needed to express my thanks to Say Cheese, where I experienced a little bit of heaven over the weekend. My mom and I sat in the cafe and ordered the most amazing sandwich: smoked salmon, cucumber, spinach, and cream cheese on very thin very slightly rubbed with olive oil slices of potato dill bread. Salty, creamy, crunchy. Now I need to go back and systematically order every sandwich on the menu. I'm a sandwich obssessive, and this baby made me moan, smile, and sent my toes curling. And the hearts of palm salad on the side was pretty good, too. And the waitress was so nice! A special relief since we had eaten at Campanile the night before and our waitress was so solemn we made it our goal to try to get her to smile (which, actually, I usually try to do in any case). Alas, we could not. I don't think she had the ability to move her mouth that way.
