Cheap White Wine For Cooking

I don't regularly drink white wine but I do cook with it usually for deglazing when making pan sauces. Frequently I open a bottle I have on hand, use a couple ounces then put it in the fridge and forget about it until I throw it away a month later. If I'm ambitious, rarely these days, I freeze it in ice cube trays. What do you cook with? I like a clean/light tasting wine (no oaky Chardonnay) like a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. I see this one @ Total Wine for under $5.00, which is my strike price. I would like to buy a quantity less than 750ml but the half bottles aren't much cheaper if at all. Any suggestions? Thanks!
