Well, here we are approaching winter. And, I find that during the winter time I crave more protein. The problem is that I'm also trying to watch my spending and, if push comes to shove, I would rather spend more money on high-quality produce from the Farmer's Market than on a $15 roast.
So, aside from Tuna, Sardines and Beans, what are some cheap sources of protein? And, how do you like to prepare them?
