Charnushka: What to do?

I finally went to Penzeys Spices here in STL, and among other things picked up charnushka (nigella?) seeds. I've seen recipes for naan and seeded rye bread, but what else is there to do? Any hints or tips?

BTW, the smells upon entering Penzys was entering CH heaven. I roamed around the store far too long; reading, smelling, luxuriating, and thinking. It's even better than when I lived in Baltimore and the smells from McCormick's would sometimes come wafting in around the Inner Harbor area...
