We did. We had dinner at Roosters in Southpark. This was our first visit and I have wanted to try it and resto week was the perfect excuse. I had the tomato and okra soup which I thought was delicious and perfect for a hot, summer night. I also had the short rib w/ fried Anson Mills polenta. Again, very good. Dessert for me was the vanilla bean panna cotta. Perfect consistency and tasty. SO had fried squid, linguine w/ clams & creme fraiche cheesecake. He (and i) were not overly impressed w/ the taste of his selections. There were a bit bland/uninteresting. The menu choices were limiting. I was surprised to see spaghetti marinara on their list of entree choices. But all in all, it was a good experience and we will return.
So, did anyone else take advantage of the week's bargains?
