charleston/sweatman's

Hi,
I'll be driving to charleston for the first time from nyc and plan to eat myself into a stupor. I'll be there for 4 or 5 days and am looking for mainly cheaper eats places that are special to SC. So far, I plan on hitting Hominy Grill or Diana's for breakfast, Anchor Line for seafood, farmer's market for boiled peanuts and other goodies. have read here that Jestine's is overhyped...has nothing changed? Also thinking about driving north to holly hill to try the temple of cue that sweatman's seems to be. any idea of how far that is from charleston? (more specifically the Charleston Riverview hotel) any additional must try's would be welcome. or any road eats off I-95 in VA, NC, or SC. I'm doing my research but don't have as much time as I'd like to sift through the multitude of posts. thanks for any help!!
