Charleston, SC restaurants dilemma

Monica | Nov 8, 201609:30 AM

It's my birthday next month and my husband and I are visiting Charleston, SC for the first time. Snagged super low price for round trip tickets through Jetblue.
We are staying 3 nights and 4 days...through Saturday Dec 3rd to Tuesday.

I booked two nights through Amex's Fine hotel collection which gives free breakfast and lunch or dinner at Zero George and Belmond. Charleston Grill in Belmond looks like a great sophisticated place(though I am usually not a big fan of restaurant that has the word, 'Grill' in it.
Love the jazz nights though not 100% thrilled about their menu but I am willing to take a chance if anyone has any positive things to say about this restaurant. I do get $100 credit toward it. Or we can just have lunch at their Palmetto restaurant and use that $100 voucher.

We will have breakfast and lunch or dinner at Zero George's restaurant. How is their restaurant? Should I go for lunch or dinner?

Monday through Tuesday, we are staying at The Spectator with no meal plan. Where should we eat breakfast and lunch(maybe one of the fried chicken places??) I already made a reservation at FIG for dinner that night.

I'd love to eat dinner at HUSK one night as their dinner menu looks more interesting(as should be) than lunch. Should I just eat lunch at Palmetto restaurant and eat dinner at HUSK on Saturday night(if still available).

Who makes the best Southern style fried chicken? Leon's?

So many choices and not enough time...

Charleston Grill,
Palmetto Brewing Co.,
The Palmetto Cafe,
