Hi all, I would ordinarily read through many discussions and form my own list for my upcoming long weekend in Charleston. But due Covid and not knowing what the current status of these is as well as the overwhelming amount of choices, I am lost. My wife and I will be there from Thursday 3/18 to Sunday 3/21. I have done the standard due diligence not knowing much about Charleston and have come up with way too many choices. Please weight in and let me know your thoughts or alternative suggestions. I think/hope given a month away we have some time to make reservations even at the most in demand places.

Fine Dining Choices (in no particular order):
FIG
Charleston Grill
The Grocery
Malagon
Halls Chophouse
Tempest
82 Queen

Oyster House:
Delany
Rappahannock
The Ordinary
Pearlz

Brunch:
Hall Chophouse
Pages Okra
High Cotton

Hometown Cooking (lowcountry):
Pages Okra
Rodney Scott's (BBQ)
Nana's Soul Food
Bertha's Kitchen

We are from the Philly area so we do have access to very good Italian and Asian restaurants so I am generally staying away from those (even though one of the best meals I have in Porto Portugal was at La Ricota :)

We are staying near Meeting and Market in the main downtown area but will surely travel for a great meal. A great meal does not take into account cost, but rather the quality of the cooking and sure sometimes the atmosphere, but not always :) Would love to get some off the beaten path greats too.

Thank you so much in advance, I look forward to hearing from you all about my list to see if its too touristy and to hear some of your favorites.

Best regards,
Mark
