I'm part of a group interested in arranging a food tour of Charleston or in taking a cooking lesson. Internet research has turned up two food tour options with Culinary Tours of Charleston, a sub-division of Charleston Strolls. Any comments about either of these tours or the company leading them?
I've seen the cooking classes offered by Charleston Cooks!/Maverick Southern Kitchens (This place seems to have a connection to High Cotton.) and The Coastal Cupboard. I've also read about two private chefs offering lessons: Janet Gaffney and Chris Casner. Any recommendations among these businesses or individuals?
