Charles and Camilla wedding dinner

Nyleve | Mar 7, 2005 11:57 AM

This must be my day for questions. Planning a Charles and Camilla wedding dinner because, well, why not? Somebody has to do it - may as well be us. Liz, clearly, isn't up to it.

Anyway, tossing around menu ideas. We'll probably have 20-ish people and want to do it sit-down. Have enlisted friend's teenaged daughter and a couple of buddies as serving staff, and would like to do part of it potluck and part not. Probably the appetizers and sides could be potluck, mains etc. would be done by myself and couple of friends.

Thinking in terms of traditional roast beef and yorkshire pudding, possible soup course or other, and either trifle or something flaming for dessert. Any ideas for appetizers, starter, or accompaniments? And other suggestions for the main? (We thought of Corgi Casserole or Grilled Fox but decided against.)
