It starts with Lizzie talking about her elimination and how much she misses her father, and how sad she was after fishing on the docks. "You cook from your heart, and there it was, all that sadness, right there," referring to the dish that got her eliminated. On to LCK.
So it's Lizzie vs. Kristen. They have to cook a dish using Alaskan fish, and they are told by Tom that for cooking methods, they can only use an open fire and smoke. Kristen is nervous about not having other cookware, but she gets over that quickly. Lizzie picks salmon, Kristen chooses cod. They both decide to make fish stew. Kristen's stew, per her words, is "more Asian" to show that she can be more versatile. Kristen comments that it's starting to rain.
At the tasting, Tom takes two tastes of Kristen's stew, then, according to Kristen, really chows down on Lizzie's stew, which has her concerned. Tom says he's getting better food in LCK than he is in the ECs. He says both dishes are fantastic. He compliments Kristen's dish, saying it hit all the right notes. He tells Lizzie that if she had made that dish for the EC, there is no way she would have been eliminated and she probably would have won the challenge. He then chooses Kristen for the win.
Tom tells Kristen there's only one more to go. Still not sure how that's going to work. Anyone know? Tom asks Kristen what she's thinking, and she says, as humbly as she possibly can, that she feels like she deserves to be in the finale. That's a wrap for this episode.
