We went to the Chameleon cafe for the first time on Thursday and I was very impressed. Fairly plain but unusual decor, nice ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I had the charcuterie platter, the Duck and Creme Brulee and couldn't fault with any of these dishes, well OK, the onion confit with the Duck may have been a little overdone but still within tolerance and I'm notoriously picky.
My wife had the Cauliflwer Cream, Monkfish and Creme Brulee and she was also delighted. The bread was good, they brought her a little pot of honey to sweeten her hot tea, there was a nice (and inexpensive)bottle of Malbec, the coffee was good and I had a nice pour of Cognac to round things out. Interesting mix of clientele made for a close to perfect evening. We will definitely be back for more
