A Challenge for Philly Chowhounds

We are looking for a restaurant, other than LBF, XIX, Estia or Vetri which is:

Romantic, comfortable and fairly quiet (celebrating our wedding anniversary)

Serves late night dinner (after 9:30 p.m. - going to the ballet)

Has a more traditional, cozy decor as opposed to modern. (Don't want tables so close to each other or the "booth type" where you sitting right next to someone. Would like some privacy).

Is not Asian/Sushi, Middle Eastern/Thai, Mexican/Spanish, or fish/seafood oriented.

Preferably within walking distance from the Academy of Music (but will have transportation if necessary).

Doesn’t require DH to wear a tie.

Bar not required.

Does such restaurant exist, or is this wishful thinking?

Want to stay up to date with this post?
