Since I bought my wonderful Deni ice cream maker (thanks to Carb Lover for the rec), I've become the office ice cream guy. Of course I don't like to do anything conventionally so my flavors gear more towars the exotic, and even when I make a traditional flavor like chocolate, I make it with the Mexican Ibarra so that it's still not just "plain vanilla" (so to speak!)
of course now I'm getting challenges from my office mates, and the most intriguing one is hummus ice cream. It sounds wretched.... however garlic ice cream has its fans, and I wonder if this could in fact be worked into something palatable.
So, what would you do? Savory or sweet? Mild or pungent? Is there any hope for this awful sounding idea?
I can't wait to see your replies!
