Back on the chain gang

This chain deserves credit not scorn. Houston's in San
Francisco is a wonderful restaurant plain and simple. It doles out comfort food in a congenial atmosphere at a fair price and very well prepared. Ahi tuna salad done perfectly, baby back ribs with the sweetest loosest meat practically dripping off the bones and an honorable French Dip done medium rare on a crustly grilled roll. Not dirt cheap but really a great place to hang, eat and watch the Giants.
