Cha-Cha-Cha Mission St

Ken Hoffman | May 28, 2003 02:16 PM

It is said that the food at the Mission Cha-Cha-Cha does not match the Haight branch and I agree. But the atmosphere is still kind of cool with exposed brick walls, old photos of the area and a really long bar with wooden swivel seats. The mojitos are refreshing and packed with shredded mint leaves hanging in the drink like seaweed. The cerviche was pretty bad. First the color: Pink like bubble gum. The flavor was vinegary and monotonous. The shredded prork quesedilla was better with shredded meat a glops of sweet sauce but not in any way memorable. In all,not a bad place for a drink. Be sure to check out the Greek store next door for an array of Greek delicacies.
