I've been to CF Kitchen three times in the last few months for dinner and wanted to share that we think that this is a good, local non-chain restaurant. It is a tiny place, run by a husband and wife in a strip mall, and while not fancy, they do try hard. The service can get a tad slow at times, but we, and everyone we've gone there with, think the food is very good. Between my husband and I, we've tried both creole food and also the filet cooked in wine sauce (which is delicious). We have good friends from Louisiana who set our standard for Creole food and they also really liked it. Obviously, there are many more choices on the south side of the valley, but this is a great contrast to all the chain places in the Northridge/Porter Ranch area in my opinion.
