I just recalled having some delicious food at CF Cheng (no its not PF Chang's...) in Sacramento and I'm just a little curious about the restaurant. I've been digging around online, but there hasn't been that much information. A friend of mine once told me that the chef worked around the bay area intially (possibly Mayflower), but while looking across some yelp reviews I saw this statement.
I'm digging around for some info on the restaurant CF Cheng in Sacramento that I have tried before -- it is definitely not PF Chang's. I had a friend that once told me that the chef worked around the bay (possibly Mayflower). Looking at some yelp reviews, I saw someone state this:
"The head chef happens to be from the Bay and has been the chef at East Ocean. He was also responsible for the great food that used to be served at Jumbo Seafood in its "glory" days of the 90s."
My Cantonese is decent enough to order food, but that's about all I can say. I rarely ever talk with the kitchen and its been a while since I've been there but I was wondering if anyone else that has eaten at this place could offer some more information. I've enjoyed their claypot rice and their jellyfish with chicken. I recall seeing someone order a chicken stuffed with glutinous rice as well. From the few places I venture in the Sacramento area, I'd say this place was my favorite for Cantonese food when I was around.
