Cerveceria Aguamala | El Sauzal - Ensenada

Melanie Wong | Aug 16, 201802:49 AM     1

On our way back to town from a lovely dinner in June at El Pinar de 3 Mujeres https://www.chowhound.com/post/el-pin... , we stopped at Cerveceria Aguamala in El Sauzal for a nightcap. Kind of a cool structure facing the ocean, created from stacked shipping containers, the place was extremely busy and crowded on a friday night.

Among the three of us, we tried two different brews. Both disappointed. Mine was skunky with off-flavors and undercarbonated. I suspected dirty taps. Glancing at the menu for the kitchen run by Deckman's, the prices seemed a good bit higher than similar establishments. We'd had some good brews this trip, but not this night at Aguamala.
