Central American Tamales in Santa Clarita Valley

la Pueblo bakery - it just says panaderia from the outside - used to be the only saving grace I could find chow-wise about living in Canyon Country. There, I was intriduced to central american style tamales - masa very finely ground, very soft (made with chicken broth at this spot) filled with potatoe, chickpeas, a little tomato and pork or chicken, then wrapped in a banana leaf. i had never had this style before and I fell in love with them. When i moved last weekend i bought a dozen as enticements for friends willing to help who had already savored these treats. it was enough incentive for six people to show up and help. Now I am in Glendale and would deeply appreciate any pointers on places to find this style tamale in the vicinity and LA at large.
If you have an itch to try this place - I can't recommend it highly enough, but I also have no comparisons for this style - it is on soledad canyon blvd, a few storefronts down from 'bob's country meats' and the best things to get there other than these tamales are, in decreasing order of greatness:
chorizo breakfast burrito (delicious freshly made chorizo wityh bell pepper, onion, egg cheese )
bread pudding (nuff said)
jalapeno and cheese mexican tamale (hot, with seeds, the right way)
any style pupusa

everything there is good, but these things stand out.
