I had some on a hot dog in Florida this week and I really liked the taste. I never use or cook with it, however. I always thought of it as one of those ultra-processed "spices" - kind of like garlic powder - that was invented in the 70s as yet another way to help the frazzled mom cope with kitchen responsibilities. Does anyone ever use it now? In cooked food or on salad? Do you wear bell bottoms and listen to disco when you bring it out?
