Heard a rumor that the venerable Caveman Kitchen has been sold recently, and that the quality has declined since the new management took over. Their bbq sauce might as well be ketchup, but the meat was always great--especially the beef. Before the old shack burned a few years back, they had a framed letter on the wall from Paul Child (Julia's husband) saying how much the two of them loved Caveman's food. I don't get there very often, but I'd hate to think they've lost it after all these years.
Anybody been down there in the past few months? Your thoughts?
