Catered sucking pig? Trader Vic's!

Friends of ours had a tropical themed party this past weekend -- never mind that the weather was anything but.

In addition to the amazing mixed drinks (the host's hobby), they had both a 40 pound suckling pig and a goose from Trader Vic's chinese ovens. Both were incredibly moist and flavorful and the pig made for a great display as well. Seemed like a reasonable thing to do for a big party -- they said the pig ran somehwere between $100 and $140. They weren't sure because they also got some of their hors d'oevres from Vic's -- those weren't worth bothering with because they quickly got cold outdoors and then didn't taste that great.
