Went to a newly-opened place in Hoboken last night and was pretty blown away. Casual Thai on 10th and Washington. Perhaps one of the best thai meals I've ever had. (I'm generally a fan of Thai Chef in Montclair when I get out into the woods that far west.) Three of us shared two entrees: red snapper in a basil sauce and duck with three flavors. I was expecting fish fillets, probably previously frozen. What we got was a wonderfully cooked and flavored whole fish, kinda halfway to filleted. Excellent. The duck was even better.
Casual Thai is owned by the same folks as Robongi, a nearby Japanese place, which is a good sign. Really lame music, however. Very 70s. (Though not loud.)
